Home Base
We landed at Patti’s house in Nogales, AZ on Saturday and have been helping her settle into her new digs. Staying in one spot for more than one day has felt so nice and we’ll be here until Friday when we head up to Tucson.
Carlsbad Caverns
Our goal was to get out west fast, then slow down but we could not pass up the chance to explore Carlsbad Caverns. Needless to say, it was mind blowing. All four of us were in awe the entire tour. https://www.nps.gov/cave/index.htm

When I think of Waco, TX my immediate thoughts turn to the standoff with David Koresh. Luckily, after today, I now think of huge, cute, and cuddly mammoths who were not woolly.
