Lone Rock Beach, Lake Powell

We had a few days before we had to be back in Tucson for our second COVID vaccine and landed at Lone Rock Beach. While the water was too chilly for a swim, the kids were so happy to be back on soft sand (minus tumbleweed spurs, OUCH). Don’t let the photos fool you, we were not the only people there. The shoreline was dotted by RVs, tents, and some serious extreme camping, towing outfits. Even with all the other people, it was a truly serene and beautiful place to explore for a couple days. Plus, 4 bars for Phil’s work!
